Music Marathon

Twelve hours of varied music and musicians to raise funds for the Choristers’ forthcoming tour of Singapore and Australia.  Admission free, donations welcome.

0900       Roger Sayer (organ) – a selection of movements from Josef Rheinberger’s 20 Sonatas
1000       Roger Sayer (organ) – 19th and 20th century French repertoire
1100       Ian le Grice (organ) – English Music from the 16th century to the present day, including works by Temple Organists John Stanley, Walford Davies and Thalben-Ball
1200       Greg Morris and George Inscoe (organ) – wedding repertoire.  If you would like to request a particular piece from your own wedding service, please contact Liz Clarke:
1300       Philippa Mo (violin) and Chi-Yu Mo (clarinet) – including music by Messiaen and MacMillan
1400       Greg Morris (organ) – Preludes, Fantasias, Fugues and Chorale Preludes by J.S. Bach
1500       Sophie Harris (‘cello) and Ian Belton (piano), including The Swan by Saint-Saens, Elegy by Fauré and Spiegel im Spiegel by Pärt
1600       Greg Morris and George Inscoe (organ) – a selection of music transcribed for organ, including music by Vivaldi, Bach, Schostakovic, Walton, Wagner and Vaughan Williams
1700       Chamber music – Mozart’s Kegelstadt Trio and Dvorak’s Quintet in A major

1900       Roger Sayer and Greg Morris (organ) – Film and TV theme tunes, including James Bond, Interstellar, Fantasia, Ski Sunday, Songs of Praise
