Rosie Vinter is the 2017-18 Walford Davies Organ Scholar at Temple Church, where her responsibilities include playing for Wednesday Evensongs with the Temple Singers, teaching theory and training the probationers. Rosie began studying music at an early age, learning the piano and singing in the choir at St George’s Church Whyke. Since then, she has held posts as Organist and Choir Mistress at St Mary the Virgin Church, Barnham in West Sussex where she founded the mixed voice choir in 2009, the William Otter Chapel Organ Scholar at Chichester University, the Graham Rogers Organ Scholar at Chelmsford Cathedral, and most recently the Graduate Organist at Abbots Bromley School. Rosie has been teaching music for eight years and recently graduated from Chichester University with a degree in Music with Vocal Teaching. She is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Music Performance at the London College of Music.
