Taster session for September 2026 entry

For boys and girls currently in Year 3, interested in joining in September 2026, we run frequent taster sessions. The next taster session will take place on Monday 27 April from 4.30-5.30 pm

Auditions for September 2026 entry

Auditions will take place on Saturday 16 May 2026.

The deadline for registering interest is Friday 1 May 2026.

Becoming a chorister

The chorister experience at Temple Church is rewarding and provides a life enhancing opportunity to be part of a professional musical team singing in one of the most prestigious and historic churches in London.

A chorister education provides children with unique opportunities to grow and develop a range of life skills. Choristers are taught and supported by an expert team of teachers and encouraged to develop a specialised musical skillset over several years, setting young people up for a bright future. The routine of the choir is busy but very rewarding.

The benefits include:

His love of ceremony and state festivals fuelled an extraordinary musical bounty during his reign and formed the background to the musical riches of the period, especially to the works of Giovanni Gabrieli. With cornetts, sackbuts and an all-male consort, Paul McCreesh exploits the dazzling polyphony of Andrea and Giovanni Gabrieli’s music. The theatrical and ceremonious performance is sure to captivate our audience.
